Term Two Week 7
Happy Christmas! We have completed our second term of the year and it has been a fun-packed week for Year 5 and Year 6. Some of us have enjoyed showing teamwork in festively decorating our classrooms.
To conclude our enquiry this term on ‘Have we made the world a better place?’, all three classes carried out a traffic survey in th village to see how much traffica- and which types of vehicles – use our roads. It was a challenge to spot any electic cars making us think about how they really do need to be made more affordable.
As well as making better choices for the environment with regards to traffic pollution, we learnt about all the different renewable energy sources which are being developed by scientists and engineers. Read some of our information texts here|:
