Term 1 Week 6
What a busy week it has been!
As writers this week, we have been learning about non-chronological reports. We know that these can be read in any order and it will still make sense. We started by learning what they were and then moved on to finding their features in some WAGOLLs. Stay tuned next week to see some of our own non-chronological reports. We are very excited to get writing!
As scientists we learned all about temperature. We learned that temperature is measured in degrees Celsius. We had great fun learning about how thermometers work and observed and measured a range of temperatures and recorded these in a class chart.
We had a very special assembly this week from the NSPCC. We learned all about keeping ourselves safe. During our PSHE lessons, we thought about this in more detail discussing what to do in different situations and using the scientific names for different parts of our bodies.
As athletes, we have been thinking about our footwork. We had great fun learning and developing the skill of balancing on one foot. We have then applied these skills to our outdoor football P.E sessions.
