Term 2 Week 4

What a busy week it has been!

As writers, we have been identifying features of a letter. We looked at lots of different examples and made a list of the features that we identified. We then looked at a WAGOLL example and used different colours to show our understanding of each feature. Next week, we will be writing our own letters and will need to include the features that we have identified.

As citizens, we have been looking at the difference between unwanted and unkind behaviours and bullying. We then looked at different scenarios and discussed whether we thought they were bullying or unwanted behaviour and grouped them. We justified our choices to the rest of the class.

As mathematicians, we have had great fun problem solving this week. We needed to grapple and persevere to try and use the given numbers only once, to complete each row, to make a certain total. We loved this activity and lots of us even carried on at lunchtime!
