Term 2 Week 7
It is the final week of term!
We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As scientists, we finished our unit of learning by creating a poster which showcased our new knowledge about states of matter. We learned our knowledge by working scientifically in every lesson.
As writers, we wrote our own set of instructions about how to wrap up a present. We started the week by ordering and editing a given set of instructions before thinking about the features of instructional writing and writing our own. We needed to include a you will need list, time connectives and numbers as well as bossy verbs.
As citizens, we applied our new knowledge from our English lessons to successfully wrap presents for adults at home as part of a secret Santa. We would like to say a huge thank you to the PTFA for providing the gifts.
As geographers, we shared our learning with the children in EYFS and Year 1.
