As scientists, we have continued to learn about how we can keep our body healthy. This week, we thought about our diet choices and learned about the importance of a balanced diet. We thought about healthy food groups such as fruit and vegetables and the food groups that we don’t need much of like sugars and fats. We presented our understanding of food groups by sorting and grouping a range of food and ordering the groups from those that we need the most of to the group we needed the least of.

As mathematicians, we have been learning how to add 2 2 digit numbers with an exchange. We first did this practically before moving on to recording our answers.

As athletes, we have been learning about dynamic balancing. We have been balancing on one leg, on a line, on a beam and by raising our arms. We needed to think about our core and we found that having a focus point really helped. We then created our own balances for a partner to mirror.
