In Jupiter Class as part of Children’s Mental Health week we drew round our own hands and decorated them to show how different we all are. We talked about what makes us different but that we are all friends and make up a fantastic group of people in our class.

In E Safety Day, on Tuesday, we explored how to be safe online. We read the story below:

We then answered questions about why it is important to talk to a trusted adult if we feel something we have seen online has upset us. We then used 2paint a picture app to draw a world (magical) we might experience online. Some questions coming home for your child to complete about apps they might use at home.

As musicians we played our glockenspiels for our song ‘I wanna be in a band’. After we practiced with our intsruments we learnt all of the words to the song and performed it as a class.

In maths we have continued to learn about multiplication, focussing on how we times two numbers together along with working out word problems.

As writers we have continued our learning with describing characters by playing a game of guess who in class. We had to pick a friend and be really specific with our adjectives so we could narrow down who the person was. We then picked either Bill Sykes or Fagin from our book Oliver Twist to create a WANTED poster.

Jupiter Class focussed on working as a team in PSHE this week to create birds that represent our dreams and goals. We loved watching the creativity that they all showed.

In our enquiry we have been comparing our lives to the Victorians and we sorted different objects to show if they were used in the past, present or both!
