Term 4 Week 1

Welcome back to a brand new term!

As writers and historians, we have started to learn about the life of Florence Nightingale. We have learned and sequenced facts about her life and will use this information when we write a biography later this term.

As mathematicians, we have been using the divide symbol to share counters. We recognised that we could apply our multiplication skills as multiplication is the inverse to division. We finished the week by writing number sentences using the division symbol.

As historians, we completed a Victorian Walk with historian Michael. He showed us how Uphill had links to the Victorian era and we enjoyed learning lots of historical facts about the area we live in.
