We hope you’ve had a wonderful half term and are ready for the delights term 4!

This week, has been a very busy week.

We are continuing with our history enquiry this term learning all about Who were the Victorians? As part of this weeks lessons we have learnt all about a new significant individual, Florence Nightingale.

In maths, we have begun our division learning by looking at sharing and grouping. We started this practically (see pictures below).

As scientists, we have been starting our new enquiry Human Body and Health. We started with how we keep healthy: looking at what we eat, how we exercise and how staying clean helps us to keep well.

As writers this week we have used our knowledge from our enquiry to make a biography all about Florence Nightingale’s life.

Thank you to all of the children who have brought in their ‘story in a jar. We have loved seeing them all in our classrooms. If you have not made one yet and would like to please bring them in on Monday morning ready for reading week and world book day next week.
