Term 4 – Week 2
As writers this week, we have been drafting, editing and publishing our incredible biography’s based on Florence Nightingale. They are incredible and we are so proud of them. We interviewed Florence to gain some more information before we wrote our plans.
As citizens, we have been looking at how people feel when they are included and excluded from thing. We were given different scenarios to think about and discuss.
As mathematicians, we have been looking at finding equal halves of a objects and then moving our knowledge of finding a half.
As Historians, we have been learning about the Industrial Revolution. We have looked at the changes after the Revolution and have sorted these events.
As scientists, we have been looking at how the muscles working in our bodies and the role they play. We also found the results of our bone investigation. It turns out if you have no calcium in your diet, over time, your bones will become supple and bend. Excuse Mrs. Rundle’s face, the bones had started to become very smelly. Mrs. Rundle washed her hands straight away.
