Term 4 Week 4

This week we went to the SS Great Britain! 

As historians, we went on a trip to the SS Great Britain. We loved learning all about Brunel, exploring the ship, asking an expert questions and dressing up!

As scientists, we continued to learn about the skeleton. We know that we need a skeleton to help us move, to support us and to protect us. This week, we learned the common bone names for some of the bones in the skeleton. We put together a skeleton as a group and said that in order for the skeleton to allow us to move, to support us and to protect us, it needed to have the bones in a set order.

As musicians, we listened to a piece of music called Orawa by Kilar. It tells a musical journey of a river walk. We then drew images that we thought of whilst listening to the music.
