Term 4 Week 5

What an exciting week we’ve had!

We have been super busy in year 2 this week and have learnt lots of new skills.

We started off our week talking about what team work looks like and how we can work together as a class and a school. We all came up with some fabulous ideas and decided we could work with anyone to accomplish any task.

In science this week we had an exciting lesson learning all about our immune systems and vaccines. We learnt all about how white blood cells and vaccines work to help us stay healthy and fight of any germs or viruses. Year 2 were very active in their conversations and already had amazing knowledge of this before we started. We ever created little videos telling people how important vaccines are.

We have continued our maths learning this week looking at adding and subtracting. Jupiter and Pluto have used a variety of resources to help our learning and have become superstars at exchanging!

And finally … We told you to check in to see our final art prints and here some are. Both Pluto and Jupiter Class have worked extremely hard in their art lessons and have created multiple prints. They thought hard about their designs and cut them out so carefully we now have a gallery of prints around our classrooms.
