Term 5 Week 1

Welcome to Term 5! 

As mathematicians, we have been learning about the difference between 2D and 3D shapes. We started the week by recapping the names of a variety of 2D and 3D shapes and completed a shape hunt around the school. We finished the week by recognising features of shapes including sides and edges.

As computer scientists, we have started to learn about digital music. We thought about how pieces composed by Holst made us feel when listening to them. We thought about what we liked and disliked about each piece and will use these opinions when composing our own pieces using the I-pads this term.

As athletes, we have been developing our balancing skills. We have completed balances on our own and with a partner focusing on stance an one leg balance.
