Term 5 Week 1

Welcome back to a brand new term!

As mathematicians, we are now taking part in a times table challenge called the 41 club. It is designed to improve our times table speed and accuracy. We will complete the activity in class and bring home our sheets 3 times a week. The aim is to get better each week by either improving our score or our speed. We are loving the challenge!

As citizens, we looked at our new No Outsider book called the Perfect Fit. The story follows a triangle who believes that his only perfect fit is with other triangles. He soon learns that he can have fun and join in with any of the shape groups. We talked about the themes of belonging, friendship and celebrated our differences. We created ‘perfect fit’ shape pictures and celebrated our creations.
