Term 5 Week 2
It has been another busy week in Year 2!
As computer scientists, we thought about guidance on how to use technology in different environments and settings. We all agreed that technology is great, but in moderation! We need to look after ourselves by taking regular breaks and stepping away from the screen! We made posters to remind people how to stay safe when using technology.

As writers, we have been researching and gathering facts about different London Landmarks including Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. We have started to structure these facts into descriptive sentences ready to include in our writing next week.

As mathematicians, we have been learning all about symmetry and lines. We now know what a vertical, horizontal and diagonal line is and using shapes and mirrors, we can recognise different lines of symmetry.

As scientists, we have built on our learning about living things. This week we have learned about habitats. A habitat is a place that an animal or plant lives which has everything they need to survive. We went on a habitat hunt around school and discussed what animals and plants would call each habitat home.
