Term 5-Week 3
Another busy week full of incredible learning!
As writers we have been drafting and presenting our wonderful leaflets all about London and why it is a place to visit.
As mathematicians, we have been learning about money, firstly recapping the coins and value they hold and then using money to find correct amounts.
As Historians, we have been looking at what life was like in 1666. We all agreed we wouldn’t have wanted to live in the cramped and damp houses.
As scientists, we have been observing our test and seeing how much our seeds have been growing in the different conditions we have set up. We couldn’t believe the cupboard cress, it was all wobbly and the leaves were yellow instead of green. We realised sunlight is needed to make the leaves green.
As PE experts we have been using the skills we have learnt over time to play a game where, in teams, we had to collect as many cones as we could.
As citizens, we have been learning about how we can communicate our feelings, in particular, with touch. We have been talking about how we need to tell others if we do not like something.
