Term 5 Week 4

What a busy week we have had! 

As readers, we welcomed Year 5 into our class and they read to us their short stories. We loved seeing some of the older children in the school and enjoyed listening to them read their work out loud.

As scientists, we have continued to learn about animals, plants and their habitats. This week, we played a habitat game. We needed to use our knowledge to conclude and give reasons for which animal lives in which habitat.

As mathematicians, we have been sorting 3D shapes. We thought about their features how many faces, how many edges and how many vertices to sort them into a variety of tables and diagrams. We then thought about our own criteria for sorting shapes.
