Term 5 Week 4

It has been another productive week in Year 2!

As computer scientists, we have been listening to the music by Holst. He produced a number of pieces which he named after the planets. We used key words to describe the music and drew a picture showing how the music made us feel. Next week, we will create our own digital music in the style of one of his famous pieces.

As athletes, we have been continuing our dance topic. This week we have been thinking about how to place our arms in time to the music. We then developed our skills by thinking of different and creative ways to move to the music.

As scientists, we continued to learn about habitats. This week we thought about how different animals have adapted to their habitats. We presented our learning to the class and made a matching fact file.
