Term 5-Week 5
We’ve had such a productive week full of incredible learning.
As writers, we have been presenting our entry diaries of what we might have seen in ‘The Great Fire of London’. The descriptive language we have used are just exquisite. We are so proud of them.
As mathematicians, we have been continuing our learning of money. This week has been about finding total amounts, change and problem solving. If you could practise this at home, that would be brilliant!
As scientists, we have been observing our plant growth for the final time. We have been recording our findings in our tables ready to make conclusions on our findings next week. We were shocked to see Jupiter class’ plants have stopped growing. Pluto class’s, plants have grown a lot. The tallest plants have grown in no warmth and no sun but they are not the healthiest as they have black leaves and are wobbly in growth. We talked about how important these conditions were to ensure the plant grew in a straight line and had green leaves. The other conditions, the leaves were black or yellow.
As citizens, we have been talking about what secrets mean and what we can do if we think we have a secret.
As Historians, we have been using sources to find out how ‘The Great Fire of London’ was reported. Our reports are incredible!
