Term 5-Week 6
Our final week has been jam packed with incredible learning. We have been celebrating ‘local history’ week. We have been learning about George Muller and how he helped hundreds of children by creating orphanages. We also learnt about Uphill Grange and how it was used to help others. We discovered all of this out using different sources.
As writers, we have been writing in role, a letter to King Charles. Our letter had to include reasons why the people of London needed help after ‘The Great Fire of London.’
As mathematicians, we have been exploring time and looking at o’clock, half past and quarter past the hour.
As scientists, we have been using the skill of concluding to explain what happened to our plant growth. We have also been thinking about what we would do differently next time.
As artists, we have been using all the skills we have learnt with camouflaging to create our final outcome, a bird.
We hope you have a restful half term break.
