Term 6 Week 1

Welcome back to the last academic term of the year!

As scientists, we have been learning about the diets of animals. We learned that animals can be classified into 3 groups based on their diets. These groups are herbivores (eat plants), carnivores (eat meat) and omnivores (eat both plants and meat). We looked at a variety of animals menu choices and then sorted and classified them into one of the 3 categories depending on what they ate.

As writers, we started our new book called the Rainbow Bear. We made predictions about what we thought the story would be about and used the word because to justify our predictions.
