Term 6 Week 6
It has been a really good week in Year 2!
As athletes, we loved having a visit from North Somerset Sports coaches who taught us how to be archers! We loved learning the process of firing the arrow and aiming for a target. We also used our maths skills when totalling up the points that we scored!
As citizens, we had a visit from the Fire Safety Service. They talked to us all about how to stay safe and what to do if we notice a fire. We know that there are firefighters whose job it is to keep us safe. They also talked to us about keeping safe in water and the importance of the starfish position!
As mathematicians, we have been comparing weight. We used the < > and = symbols to make comparisons.
