Term 6 Weeks 5 and 6

We have had a very creative couple of weeks!

For the past 2 weeks we have had a Design and Technology focus. As scientists we have been learning all about animals and their habitats and as writers we have been writing persuasively giving arguments for and against animals living in zoos. Using this knowledge as designers, technicians and eco-warriors, we created habitat boxes using recycled materials. We needed to think about the habitat that we wanted to use and include animals which would be found there. We used leavers to make the animals move in and out, up and down or around the box. We finished with a showcase of habitats and evaluated them.

We were all so proud of the finished pieces!
