Term Two-Week Six
We are so proud of your children for being absolute shining stars in our carol concert. They brought Christmas cheer and a festive tear to all around them.
As writers we have been thinking about how we can instruct people, clearly. We have been using imperative verbs, time connectives and command sentences. We realised we had to be really clear in our instructions.
As mathematicians we have been adding and subtracting two digit numbers and exchanging tens. We have been using dienes to show how we exchange a ten.
As geographers we have been discussing the similarities and differences between Weston super Mare and Shanghai. We could so lots of similarities but even more differences.
As computer experts, we have been looking at how lighting can affect our photographs. We have practised looking at taking photos under tables in the dark and outside in natural light.
As artists, we have been using our knowledge of line and shape to create pictures of animals. We’ve used collaging techniques to do this.
