Term Two- Week Two

Another busy and exciting week of learning. We have also started practising our carol concert ready for you all in December.

As writers, we have been planning, writing and editing incredible setting descriptions based on Snail and Whale.

As mathematicians, we have been looking at facts related to 20. If 2+8=10 then 12+8=20. If you could practise these at home, that would be brilliant.

As geographers, we have been looking at and Atlas and identifying different countries on the map. Our confidence in this is getting better and better.

As scientists, we have been investigating liquids and learning how to measure liquids using ml. We will also be measuring the temperature of liquids using thermometers.

As citizens, we have been thinking about what makes us special. We have been writing and drawing all the things we think are special about ourselves.

In computing, we have been looking at the difference of portrait and landscape photographs. We have been discovering how we take a photograph in these settings changes the visual of the photograph.

As artist we have been looking at using different techniques to help our patterns more intricate. The work we have created is beautiful.
