We have had such a lovely and busy week in EYFS/Year1!

This week we have finished filming our Christmas performances. We have done lots of Christmas activities and have enjoyed opening various forms of advent calendars!

We have learnt lots of facts about England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland including where they are, what their national flower is and their landmarks!

In phonics, EYFS have been doing lots of blending and segmenting sounds and Year 1 have starting learning split digraphs (like a_e in cake). In maths we have been learning how to find the total number of items in two groups and in Year 1, we have enjoyed doing subtraction.
