We have had lots of fun this week being Historians. We looked at photos of the Tropicana, Weston hospital, The Playhouse and Weston pier and discussed similarities and differences between them historically and now.

In phonics, foundation children learnt their new sounds j, w, v, x and we did lots of activities surrounding these new sounds. Year 1 children learnt their new sounds wh, ph, ew and oe.

In Maths we learnt to recognise and describe lots of 2D shapes! We learnt about triangles, squares, rectangles, circles, hexagons and octagons.
