In EYFS/Year 1 we have had another busy week of practicing our Christmas songs and we can’t wait for you to see them.

This week we have been looking at the UK and using ‘The Big Book of UK’. The children have loved this book and we have learnt some brilliant facts about the UK! We’ve had drawings of the UK, lots of great discussions and some amazing descriptive writing about what is in the UK.

In maths we have been practising our number bonds to 10 and continued to look at shapes. We learnt three new 2D shapes (octagon, hexagon and pentagon) and found out that a Christmas bauble is normally a 3D shape called a sphere!
