Week 3

This week in EYFS/Year 1 we have loved having EYFS in full time! They have enjoyed their first week of phonics and have learned the sounds s, a, t and p.

As scientists this week we looked at how materials can be sorted. We described a hidden object from the bag and discussed what material it was made from.

This week as mathematicians we have been finding one more and one less than a number. We have used cubes to build the numbers and number tracks with missing numerals to show our understanding.

EYFS loved their first PE lesson this week! We all got changed  and then practised some different movements and played some exciting games.

EYFS have enjoyed lots of fine motor activities such as cutting, building, rolling and using tweezers!
