Term 1 week 4

What have we been up to this week?

As scientists, we have learnt what a natural material is and a man made material is. We sorted items we found inside and outside our classroom then we put our learning onto a sheet.

As writers, we have learnt all about adjectives this week. We have used our knowledge to help describe houses from our class book ‘In every house on every street’ in preparation for doing some writing next week.

As mathematicians, we have continued our learning of ‘one more and one less and developed how we explain more and less with a comparison symbol.  We have also matched numbers to resources showing the amount.

In PE, we have continued to practice and develop our hopping, skipping and jumping skills before moving onto ball skills.
