Term 1 week 6
What a week!
As writers, we have created a story S to help retell ‘The Three Little Pigs’. Our foundation children have used their story s to retell the story to an adult and friend whereas the year 1s have written a fantastic retell of the story.

In our computing lessons we learnt about the difference between laptops and desktop computers. We were able to identify all of the different parts after this we practised our mouse skills by playing a game on the computers.

In our Music lessons, we learnt the importance of warming up our bodies and voices for singing and then had a go at some new echo and chanting songs!

In our provision areas we had lots of fun building different things and finding letters and sounds that we have learnt. We connected our building skills to our class book the three little pigs.

As mathematicians we have been using number lines to help us spot numbers and order them. We also looked at missing numbers and how to find out which one’s missing.

As scientists, we have thought about what materials would be appropriate to build our own ‘Three Little Pigs’ house.
