Term 1 Week 7

Our final week of term 1!

Thank you for a lovely first term of this academic year. We have loved re-establishing our relationships with the children and meeting all of our new children in our classes. We have done some amazing learning as well.

This week as part of our English and science lessons we have looked at what autumn is like.
We went on a autumn walk to find signs of autumn. We saw different coloured leaves, conkers and felt how cold the day was. Children collected lots of leaves, twigs and conkers from our autumn walk and we will be looking at them closely in the classroom.

Our year 1 children then wrote some fantastic sentences about what they saw on our autumnal walk.

In our provision, we have had an autumn focus using pumpkins, leaves and conkers.
