Week 5

As historians this week, we looked at how phones have changed. We ordered them on a chronological timeline and looked at their similarities and differences. We noticed that the wires and screens were the main difference.

As mathematicians this week, Year 1 were exploring 2D shape and identifying them on the faces of our 3d shapes. We then were finding them in repeating patterns and drawing them to continue the patterns.

EYFS have been writing words and captions about pictures from Stickman whilst Year 1 have been writing parts of the story using story language.

We loved our whole school wake and shake on Friday morning. Thank you for all of your generous chocolate donations for the Christmas fete!

EYFS have been practising their cutting skills this week. They showed fantastic control to cut some zigzags lines.
