Week 6

What a lovely week. We could really start to spot signs of Autumn this week. We have lots of leaves in our playground and it was definitely chilly when we were learning outside!

This week we loved retelling our story of The Three Little Pigs this week. We retold it verbally with actions as a class and then Year 1s wrote the stories in their books.

As designers this week, we worked together to make our houses for The Three Little Pigs that we designed last week. We use our knowledge of suitable materials that we have explored as scientists to make sure they were strong enough to defend the Big Bad Wolf!

EYFS have enjoyed practising their fine motor skills this week through cutting and writing cvc words.

This week we learned about Autumn and Harvest. We made Autumn wreaths and discussed the leaves.

This week we had an NSPCC assembly to talk about who our trusted adults are. We learned a song about the pants rule to help us understand the importance of keeping our bodies safe. Link to song below-
