Week 3

This week Year 1 enjoyed a walk around the village as Geographers. We were looking for physical and human features of Geography and found lots of examples.

As writers, we wrote about what we saw on our walk. Our focus was using ‘and’ to join words.

As Scientists we learned that rain comes from clouds. We completed an experiment to see what happens to the water when the rain cloud gets too heavy.

As computer scientists, we used laptops to create some abstract digital art inspired by Piet Mondrian.

As mathematicians Year 1 have been comparing and ordering numbers within 20. EYFS have been looking at different ways to make 5.
