Week 6

What a lovely last week of term 3!

This week in phonics Year 1 have been recapping sounds: u-e (June, cube) and EYFS ai, ee, igh and oa. We have also been doing lots of sight word practise!

In maths Year 1 have been continuing with our work on telling the time, focusing on ‘half past’ this week. We have practised on our teaching clocks and then reasoned with our knowledge. EYFS have been identifying one more and one less of a number.

As Historians we to presented our learning about ‘ How Uphill has changed over time’ to Year 2. We practised using clear voices to present what we had learn.
