Week 6

As scientists, we discussed what we already knew about Spring. We went on a walk and recorded on our checklist what we could see.

This week as writers, we used our Story S to write our innovations of ‘We’re going on an egg hunt’. We used story language and the power of three, such as “baa, baa, baa!”

EYFS created some amazing easter egg baskets with their names!

As mathematicians, Year 1 have been counting in 10s and 5s. EYFS have been spotting the odd group out of some sorted manipulatives. They explained why what they chose was the odd one out.

Our Talk Tuesday question this week was ‘What makes you feel calm?’. We shared our ideas using the stem sentences and compared our feelings with our friends.

We have loved doing Easter themed activities in provision this week like making chicks out of different resources and acting stories with bunny ears!
