Week 4

What a lovely week of learning in EYFS and Year 1!

As writers this week we have been researching a chosen animal and finding out about their habitat, diet and their features. We used our new knowledge to create a non-chronological report about the animal.

As mathematicians, Year 1 have been finding quarters and explaining how they found the answer.

EYFS have been looking at 2D shapes this week as mathematicians. They used their cutting skills to cut the shapes and sort them into the correct columns.

As scientists, we have been learning what animals need in order to survive. We chose an animal and then identified what they need.

In PE we practised our gym movements next to and on low level apparatus.

As computer scientists, we looked at how using B, I and U in word makes a text more effective and information stand out by editing a poster.
