Week 4

We have been enjoying reading our book ‘What did the tree see?’. EYFS did a book review and wrote about what they feel about the book. Year 1 have started planning their diary entry as if we were a tree in Uphill, thinking about all that has changed in the village.

This week we focused on how the churches and houses have changed in Uphill. We also found out about people’s jobs in the past and compared these to the lives that people live now.

In Maths we have been finding more and less than numbers to 100 and comparing numbers to 100 using ><=.

EYFS have been making repeating patterns with different resources.

EYFS have been exploring maps and designing their own.
