Term 5- Week 5
Week 5
We cant believe it’s the last week of term 5! What a lovely term we have had full of exciting learning.
As writers this week we learned a poem and performed it to the rest of the school in OWLHs assembly. They showed lots of courage and were amazing.
As mathematicians we have been learning directional language. We used ‘quarter turn , half turn, and full turn’ and created stories using ‘left, right, quarter turn, half turn and full turn’.
EYFS have been practising some reasoning skills by explaining what maths they can see in some pictures. They talked about numbers, patterns and shapes.
As artists this term, we have been doing printing. This week we put everything we have learned and the skills we have practised into a final piece, creating our own stamp and printing into our books.
As computer scientists we started looking at programming. The children enjoyed exploring Scratch.
