Term 5- Week 5

Week 5

This week we started planning our presentation of learning ready to showcase all of our learning next week. We recalled all we knew and what we wanted to say we have done.

We have been enjoying reading our book ‘What did the tree see?’. Year 1 have started a diary entry as if we were a tree in Uphill, thinking about all that has changed in the village. We wrote in the first person and made sure we included how we were feelings as the tree.

In Maths Year 1 started our learning of prepositions. We had to listen carefully and follow instructions on positions and directions.

EYFS have been making number bonds to 10, finding the missing number.

We have enjoyed learning outside this week when we could, particularly with the water and sand after learning about and discussing the seaside!
