Term 6- Week 1

Week one

We can’t believe it is term 6 already! We have had a lovely first week getting settled back in.

This week as Scientists we have introduced our new enquiry ‘How do living things survive?’. We started our bean experiment by planting beans in different environments. We predicted what will happen and we are excited to see!

As writers this week we read our new class story, Jack and the Beanstalk. We discussed what we like and dislike about it as well as our puzzles and connections.

We went for a Summer season walk this week and saw lots of signs of summer. The air was warm and we noticed lots of plants and flowers.

We loved computing this week. We used Scratch Jr to program the characters and then compared this programming app to using Bee-bots.
