As writers this week we retold the story of Jack and the Beanstalk on a story s. We are excited to innovate the story and retell it next week.
As mathematicians Year 1 have been comparing 2 digit numbers using more than and less than symbols.
EYFS have been learning number bonds to 10 with teddies and tens frames.
As scientists we discussed what a plant needs to grow and read ‘The Tiny Seed’. Then we planted 5 seeds- one with everything a plant needs, one without water, one without air, one without light and one without soil. We are excited to see what is going to happen!
EYFS have enjoyed learning about teeth and how and why we need to keep them healthy.
As athletes, we have been practising our sports day activities in the sunshine!
As historians, we plotted our family trees on a timeline and compared them with our friend’s. Next week we have a visitor coming in to talk to us about what his life was like as a child!
