Week 5&6

What a lovely two weeks we have had!

Last week we finished on Sports day. It was a lovely day and all the children put their all into everything they did!

We have enjoyed some art this week linked to our enquiry ‘How do living things survive?’. Year 1s have been making animal masks and EYFS created some fantastic salt dough animals!

We enjoyed watching the Year 5/6 in their show in Monday, they were amazing thespians!

This week as Scientists we looked at how plants grow and what they need to survive. Next week we will be observing the beans we planted and filling out our bean diary to see how they have grown and changed.

As writers we have been retelling the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using our Story S. Year 1s have innovated theirs to make it their own story.
