Week 7
As Historians this week we have been recapping what we have learnt about how lives in Uphill have changed. We ordered some buildings on a timeline and discussed how they would have effected the lives of the people in the village.
As Mathematicians, Year 1 have been exploring time this week. We practised showing o’clock and half past on the clocks before answering some different problem solving questions.
EYFS have been practising turn taking games this week. We learned how to play snakes and ladders and enjoyed playing with our friends!
EYFS looked at their plant growth again and discussed what had changed. We thought about who’s had grown the most and why they thought this may have happened according to what a plant needs.
