Week beg: 13th June

This week we had our wonderful trip to Wild place.
We were great animal detectives spotting different animals and finding out about what they eat and which habitat they live in.
Back in school we wrote a recount about our great trip.

Eyfs
In phonics we have been learning to read and write cvcc words e.g. brush, flap, float.

Year 1
In phonics we have been learning about adding er and est to the end of words e.g. tall – taller, tallest. Can your child write a comparison sentence e.g. I am tall. My Mum is tallest but my Dad is the tallest.

In Maths we have been counting forward and backwards to 100. We have been identifying one more and one less than a number to100.
