Celebratory Events
Dear Parents/Carers,
Over the next few weeks, we will be participating in three national events. They are as follows:
Remembrance Day – Friday 11th November 2022
In preparation for Remembrance Day, children will have the opportunity to purchase a Remembrance Day Poppy from Monday 7th November. If you wish your child to purchase a poppy, please provide them with a small donation; a minimum of 50p is recommended. We will be selling other poppy related merchandise i.e. pin badges & slap bands on Wednesday 9th November at the end of the school day in the front playground. Each item will be sold for a minimum donation of £1.
Can we remind parents any slap bands purchased are not allowed to be brought into school.
We will be holding our Remembrance Service at 11am on Friday 11th November.
We are proud to be supporting this worthy cause.
Anti Bullying Week – Monday 14th – Friday 18th November 2022
Anti-Bullying Week takes place from 14th to 18th November. The theme this year is ‘Reach Out’. To celebrate the start of this we will be supporting ‘Odd Socks Day’ on Monday 14th November. Children should wear bright, patterned, colourful odd socks to show their support for Anti Bullying Week.
No funds/donations are required for this.
Children in Need – Friday 18th November 2022
To celebrate and raise funds for this worthy cause, children can wear spotty or yellow non-school uniform. They can also wear Children in Need merchandise (no pyjamas or onesies please).
