CLF ‘Summer of Fun’ Booking Letter
Dear Parents/Carers,
The Cabot Learning Federation is a family of schools; within North Somerset, the primary school cluster is ourselves, Herons’ Moor Academy and Haywood Village Academy, whilst our secondary school cluster is Hans Price Academy, Broadoak Academy and Winterstoke Hundred Academy.
The secondary schools are hosting a holiday club, hosted by Hans Price Academy, which our current Year 6 children have the opportunity to attend. Those families should have been sent a letter directly from their intended secondary school about how to access this opportunity, however details can also be found in this week’s newsletter.
As a group of primary schools, we are extremely excited to offer all children in Reception to Year 5 a one week ‘Summer of Fun’ holiday club from Monday 23rd August until Friday 27th August, from 8.45am-3.30pm. The club will operate from the Haywood Village Academy site and will cost £15 per day, per child. Children who are in receipt of Pupil Premium funding will be able to book a place free of charge.

To book a place, please telephone the Haywood Village Academy Office Team on 01934 312720. Bookings can be made between Monday 5th until Wednesday 21st July 2021 between 11am & 4pm Monday-Friday.
The bookings will be on a first come, first served basis and initially you will only be able to book your child a place for a maximum of three days to enable us to offer as many children a place as possible. We recognise demand may exceed the daily 60 children capacity, so a waiting list will be maintained and if we can offer families more days we will.
Haywood Village Academy will inform us of those children who have a confirmed place on the holiday club and we will charge the cost to your ParentPay account. Payment will need to be made no later than 31st July 2021. If payments are not received your bookings may be cancelled.
