Dogs on School Premises

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to remind all parents, carers, and visitors of our expectations regarding dogs on and around the school site.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all children, staff, and visitors, dogs are not permitted on school premises at any time, unless they are assistance dogs.

In addition, dogs should not be tied to school fences, gates, railings, or any other fixtures outside the school grounds. Unattended dogs can become distressed and may pose a risk to children and other pedestrians.

When bringing dogs to and from the school vicinity, we ask that they are kept on a short, secure lead at all times and remain under close control.

We appreciate that many members of our school community are dog owners, and we thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Kind regards,
Uphill Village Academy
