Easter Activities Update – Thursday 28th March 2024
Dear Parents/Carers
Unfortunately, the weather has beaten us!! We have had to make the decision to cancel the Easter Hunt on the field at 3.30pm today.
Easter eggs will be delivered to classes before the end of the school day so that children receive a chocolate gift which they can bring home to enjoy.
To confirm the other arrangements:
The EYFS/KS1 Bonnet Parade will go ahead in the hall, one class at a time. Parents are invited to attend and should arrive promptly at the times below. Please come to the front playground and enter via the right-hand door (next to Rainbow classroom).
- 2.30pm – Rainbow, Sunshine and Saturn classes
- 3.00pm – Pluto and Jupiter classes
Please ensure you are on time as we will not be able to allow parents in once the parades have started. Due to space restrictions in the hall please do not bring pushchairs and buggies into the building.
Following their parade, children will return to their classes and may be collected by parents from:
- EYFS/YR1 – Shelters outside classrooms
- YR2 – Rear playground outside classrooms
Children from the EYFS, Year 1 & Year 2 classes can be collected early but we cannot arrange for collection of siblings from children in KS2 (Years 3, 4 5 & 6). Children from KS2 will need to be collected at the usual time of 3.15pm from the front playground. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
The PTFA will be drawing the raffle at 1pm and e-mailing the winners to allow for prizes to be collected at the end of the school day from the school office.
