EYFS Parent Phonics Workshop
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are excited to announce we will be offering a phonics workshop for parents of our EYFS children to take part in on Wednesday 8th November at 8:55am.
This workshop is designed to be interactive, where parents will learn about how we teach reading through phonics and then can watch the children and the class teacher taking part in a phonics lesson. It is a great way to see phonics in action and for parents to learn some techniques for how to support your child at home.
There is no need to book for this event, please wait in the front playground following drop off and we will let parents into the hall via the infant corridor.
Following the workshop, we will send further information for supporting phonics at home to parents through the Tapestry app.
The workshop will only last about 45 minutes and we look forward to seeing as many EYFS parents as possible. If you have any questions about the event, or about the learning of phonics, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
